Pineapple Grove Nursery is one of the largest growers of Plumeria in North America. Starting as a private collection in Hawaii in 1957 and growing into a family business, Pineapple Grove Nursery now grows over 2800 Plumeria trees each year. We have searched the world over to find the most exotic and unusual Plumeria. We have collected Plumeria from Mexico, SE Asia, Australia, Madagascar, the Maldives and India. We have also collected the most exotic trees from other US growers. Now located in field nurseries in Hawaii and container grown in Florida, we have hundreds of different colors, color combinations, scents, tree forms and flower sizes. Everything from petite mauve with a vanilla/lemon aroma to a jumbo yellow/pink stripe measuring 5" across that has the scent of bubblegum. Today all Plumeria are being grown for their cuttings and flowers. An extensive data base of Plumeria trees with cross references for color, scent and character is currently in the works and will be available soon.
Plumeria is not all we grow. Plumerias are fascinating plants and we love them but sometimes something else catches our attention and we have to grow it.
